Postdoctoral Fellow positions are available in Prof. Tom Cheung’s lab in the Division of Life Science at the HKUST. Our research focuses on investigating molecular mechanisms that regulate adult stem cell quiescence and activation in the context of tissue regeneration and aging. We are seeking highly motivated and independent candidates with strong background in RNA biology, stem cell biology or bioinformatics. Applicants should possess a PhD degree in biology, biochemistry or related areas. Working knowledge of molecular and cell biology techniques is a must. Experience with mouse genetics and adult stem cell biology will be an asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. The appointees are expected to lead their research project that investigates the basic biology of stem cell mediated skeletal muscle regeneration. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave and medical benefits will be provided if applicable.
