Postdoctoral Fellow positions are available in the HKUST-Nan Fung Life Sciences Joint Laboratory.
Our research focus is discovering molecular biomarkers and drug targets to develop novel diagnostics and therapeutics for aging and diseases, with the applications of sophisticated cutting-edge technologies such as high-throughput sequencing and bioinformatics platforms. This would be an invaluable opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary team, learn and utilize the latest RNA sequencing techniques to probe the transcriptome and proteome of stem cells.
Applicants must have a PhD degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related area. They should be capable of communicating their scientific ideas and results at a high level with a strong background in RNA biology, stem cell biology or bioinformatics. The appointees are expected to be creative and autonomous in leading their own research project which investigates the basic biology of aging. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided where applicable.
