Post-doctoral Fellow and Research Assistant positions are available in Prof. Kai Liu’s Lab at the Division of Life Science, HKUST.
Our main focus is to study the mechanisms regulating axon regeneration and neural circuit rewiring after CNS injuries using multiple approaches.
Applicants for the Post-doctoral Fellow position should have a PhD degree in neuroscience, biology, bioinformatics, or a related discipline with background of neuroscience, molecular biology or data mining. Relevant working experiences with electrophysiology recording, calcium imaging, or omics data analysis, will be an asset. The successful candidate should be self-motivated and able to work independently.
Applicants for the Research Assistant position should have a Bachelor’s or Master/MPhil degree in biology, medicine or related discipline with experiences in molecular biology or animal studies. Candidates with practical experiences in molecular cloning, electrophysiology, calcium imaging, animal behaviour are preferred.
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experiences. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
